INDIA’S BIGGEST MOSQUE – SHAR’E MUBARAK GRAND MASJID – THE BLESSED HAIR GRAND MOSQUE :

Named after the Holy relic’s of PROPHET (SALLALLAAHUALAIHIWASALLAM), It is set to be the India’s Biggest mosque (In sha Allah) & is being built with an intention to Preserve the holy relics of Beloved PROPHET (SALLALLAAHUALAIHIWASALLAM) The Mosque is being built in Kerala under the patronage of Ustad A. P. Aboobacker Ahmed the supremo of the A. P. Sunnis. Operating since 1978, the foundation stone of it was laid by the Islamic scholar of Makkah sayed Muhammad-ibn Alavi-al-Maliki. The Estimated cost is set to Rs. 40 crore which would be collected from 4 lack people through Contributions of Rs. 1000 each inshallah. It will be one of India’s important Islamic cultural centers and A township also would be built near the mosque. Jamia Markazu Ssaqafathi Ssunniyya is a Shafi’i Sunni Islamic school in Kerala.

It is said to be based on the Mughal architectural style.and follow the green building concept . Besides the vast prayer hall, the complex would have auditorium for conducting seminars, huge library and facilities for accommodating over 1000 people at a time.The building would cover eight acres and would be surrounded by a four-acre green belt and garden.

It will contain a relic believed by a section of Muslims to be a hair of the Prophet Muhammad.The name of the Masjid comes from theArabic word shahre, meaning hair, and mubarak, meaning blessed. Even the announcement of the project had caused a large scale controversy in Kerala called the Holy Hair Controversy.
