Tirana, the Capital City of Albania

#DidYouKnow? The area occupied by Tirana, the capital city of Albania, has been populated since Paleolithic times dating back 10,000 to 30,000 years ago. The oldest discovery in downtown Tirana was a Roman house dating back to the 3rd century A.D. that was later transformed into a church. Other ancient remains were found near a medieval temple in the eastern suburbs. A castle whose remnants were found in the city was built by Emperor Justinian in 520 AD. The modern metro population of Tirana in nearly 900,000 people.

#TahukahAnda? Area yang digunakan oleh Tirana, ibukota Albania, telah dihuni sejak Paleolitik priode 10.000 hingga 30.000 tahun yang lalu. Penemuan tertua di pusat kota Tirana adalah rumah Romawi yang kembali ke abad ke-3 yang kemudian berubah menjadi sebuah gereja. Sisa-sisa kuno lainnya ditemukan di dekat sebuah kuil abad pertengahan di pinggiran timur. Sebuah benteng sisa-sisa yang ditemukan di kota ini dibangun oleh Kaisar Justinian pada 520 AD. Populasi metro modern Tirana di hampir 900.000 orang.
