Maintaining health is fitted to be part of a lifestyle, and not become a trend. If you claim want to live a healthy life, not only following the trend, I summarize some of the mindset about health and fitness that is often mistaken.
Eating Over at 7 pm Can Make Fat
Depends on what you eat and the calories that you burn after. In evenings, generally above at 7 pm, is the time when physical activity tends to decrease so that the energy expended is less. In other words, the calories that go in much more than calories out. Also because of the body’s metabolic rate slows down more and more at nights. As long as the body is still to activity use, or eat small meals 2-3 hours before sleep, calories in fat will not be a pile into it.
Consuming Vitamin C Supplements Can Prevent Colds
There are no studies that show that the vitamin C supplements on a regular basis can prevent a person exposed to cold-flu. Even so, some studies show that vitamin C supplement influence in reducing the duration and severity of colds. For those who are experiencing physical stress or are in a very cold environment, vitamin C supplement can also help the power body’s resistance. The best source of vitamin C from food itself!
Skipping Breakfast Can Lose Weight
Logically, skipping breakfast means reducing food rations a day. That is forgotten the possibility to eat more later in the absence of energy that does not enter the body in the morning. Research shows that those who skipped breakfast will be more frequent snacking or overeating, and tend to be less nutritious food. Skipping breakfast also had an impact on the activity in the morning because the body will feel weak, listless and difficult to concentrate.
Getting Flat Stomach That Only Just By Doing Sit-ups
Any diligently sit-ups if not balanced with physical exercise that targets the entire body, the result will not be maximum. Sit-ups, crunches and all similar exercises good for strengthening the abdominal muscles, but the muscles will still be covered by a layer of fat. It takes a combination of diet clean (avoid processed food and replace it by eating lots of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, etc.), total body cardio workout and strength training.
Has Not Six Pack Means Not Fit
Having six pack abs might it look more cool, but doesn’t mean healthy either. There’s a good chance that you have a low body fat percentage that it’s not necessarily healthy. Except for athletes, who must train hard (and usually is under the supervision of a doctor), getting six pack abs requires a super-strict diet and excessive physical exercise. Apart from a few people who could easily have six pack abs without having work too hard (athletic body type),in the end health is more important than the appearance.
Women Should Avoid Weight Training
For women who want to lose weight, weight training actually helps burn more calories than just doing cardio exercises. Weight training is also good for strengthening muscles, toning the body and eliminate flabby parts (especially in the area of the arm that became a major issue of women). The reason most often heard from women who are reluctant to do weight training is the fear of looking too muscular. Female hormones different from men, so it takes practice in certain portions and additional nutrients to muscles become larger.
