What better way to feel young again than by invoking the youthful spirit with Indonesia’s brilliant young musical talent?
This New Year concert will be featuring Ananda Sukarlan, Nusantara Symphony Orchestra, and soloists Randy Ryan (piano), Amadeus Giovani Biga (violin), Nikodemus Lukas (tenor) and Isyana Sarasvati (soprano). The latter two are winners of the National Singing Competition “Tembang Puitik Ananda Sukarlan 2013”. Expect to hear Selamat Pagi Indonesia from the cantata ArsAmatoria based on poems by Sapardi Djoko Damono.
Violinist Amadeus Biga will perform “Wanita”, a fantasia based on a theme from a popular song by Ismail Marzuki. Randy Ryan, winner of numerous piano competitions and current student Juilliard School of Music in New York, will be performing the Fons Juventatis piano concerto.
